Cherry Lee is an up-and-coming, unsigned, singer/songwriter from London.

She gained her confidence and support from youtube feedback, where her fans know her as TheBathroomGirl. Her popularity on youtube incidently led to her debut gig for the City Showcase Festival in 2007 in Embassy Club, Mayfair.

She went on to win a London-wide Chinese singing competition, and since then has been featured by youtube and asked to perform in such venues as the Indigo2 Room and more recently in Leicester Square as part of London’s Annual “West End Live 2009” event, attended by an audience of thousands. Her recent song “Restless” has over 135,000 hits.

Whilst engaging in an active role within the London Chinese community and other charitable causes, she loves to travel and learn new languages and cultures, whilst using music to bridge gaps in communication. Afterall, music is universal, is it not!

Cherry uses her degree in Economics and Development Studies, and significant experience in fundraising and campaign management to increase her utility whilst volunteering abroad. She has volunteered for aid/development work in places like Costa Rica and Ecuador, and has just come back from an 8 month spell in Asia where she worked on an aid project near the Thai-Burmese border (see Good Causes).

Now that she’s back in London, she’s dived straight back into the music scene and promises to be bigger and better than ever! She hopes that her music will help raise awareness and funds towards good causes.
